How long do thermographic measurements take?
The duration depends on the size and complexity of the site. For a standard apartment, it usually takes about 1 to 2 hours, but for larger houses or office buildings, the time may be longer. An additional period is then required to analyze the results and prepare a report.
Is special preparation of the object necessary before measurement?
No complicated preparation is required, but it is good to have access to all rooms, walls and installations that will be surveyed. It is recommended that the heating be running for some time before the measurement during the cold months, in order to take into account the actual heat losses.
Can thermography detect all types of problems?
Thermography is an extremely powerful method for detecting heat loss, moisture, leaks and electrical defects, but like any method it has its limitations. In some cases it is necessary to combine it with other types of inspections or measurements to obtain a fully complete picture of the condition.
