When is the best time to lay grass turf?
Planting is possible most of the year, except during periods of frozen soil or extreme heat. Spring and fall are best when temperatures are moderate and humidity promotes rapid rooting.
When can you walk and mow?
Light foot traffic is acceptable after about 7 to 10 days with proper watering. The first mowing is done when the grass reaches 7 to 8 cm, usually about 10 to 14 days after laying. Mow with sharp blades and remove up to one third of the height.
What support is needed in the first weeks?
Regular and even watering without getting muddy is key. Keep the soil consistently moist for the first 2 weeks. After rooting, reduce the frequency and increase the depth of watering. Mow often but moderately and follow the fertilizer recommendations. If necessary, we can also include additional services from the landscaping and gardening category.
